Olajide Akinremi, a member of the House of Representatives, has died.
On Wednesday, Mr. Akinremi, also referred to as Jagaban, died suddenly, yet it is still unclear what caused his demise.
Mr. Akinremi served as the Oyo State representative for Ibadan North Federal Constituency till his passing.
Plenary and committee sessions have been suspended in accordance with National Assembly tradition to give members time to grieve and pay tribute to their colleague.
