The Abuja Municipal Area Council has endorsed Mr. Nuhu Kwajafa amongst other prominent Nigerians to be immortalized by naming a street in his name within the Abuja Municipality, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In a letter dated 27th May, 2024, referenced AMAC/160//SN/188661 and signed by Mr. Peter Ijwo (Director Operations) and Dirijo D. Dahni (Admin Officer), read:
“We are pleased to inform you that you have been unanimously endorsed amongst eminent Nigerian Leaders and Public Servants for the distinct honour of being immortalized, by naming a street (in your name) within the Abuja Municipality, Federal Capital Territory.
“Your nomination was purely based on personal merit, hence in recognition of your outstanding contributions and commitment to the society and National Economy. Undoubtedly, FCT-Abuja remains the epitome of our continuous corporate existence.
“The intent behind the naming of street after achievers is to memorialize their effort and to promote awareness of the individual and express appreciation for their special contributions to the nation.
“Subject to your acceptance of this nomination, kindly confirm your formal response.”
The 54-year-old Borno State native, Nuhu Fulani Kwajafa is the son of Fulani Kwajafa, a former police commissioner. Fulani Kwajafa was born in Lagos. Having graduated from American College in London, he has always been naturally kind, having shared his clothes and shoes with the less fortunate acquaintances to help them feel like they had a piece of his affluent upbringing.
He is the founder of an NGO, Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care (GIPLC) which has been impacting the lives of many indigents, especially children, orphans and widows across the country.
