According to reports, a Chinese man used a remote-controlled drone to catch his cheating wife. He spied on his wife and her boss during working hours.
When his wife grew more aloof and altered her routine—visiting her parents more often than before, making up reasons to go whenever he offered to go with her, and spending more time at work—the resourceful man known only as Jing started to suspect that she was having an affair.
Jing chose to use a commercially available drone to spy on his spouse from a distance because he was eager to find out the truth but was also scared of having to explain himself to her if his suspicions proved to be incorrect.
He would take his car to a far distance from her place of employment and use the drone to examine the area without having to worry about his wife or her coworkers spotting him.
He saw his wife leaving her office one day with an unidentified man and both got into a car. The drone captured them strolling hand in hand to an isolated, run-down-looking residence after they drove out from office into a far mountainous location. The two drove back to their place of employment after leaving the delipidated house about twenty minutes later.
Later, Jing posted on social media to reveal that the man his drone had captured on camera was, in fact, his wife’s boss, who had just promoted her. The excursions to that secluded love nest were necessary to conceal their affair from the man’s wife, who also worked in the same building.
Jing shared on social media, Weibo pictures of his wife and her boss holding hands. He said, he intended to use the drone footage as proof to get a divorce.
